Mireille Joana Kadewa is an Economist with expertise in economic analysis, national policy evaluation and advisory and development planning.
She currently serves as a Development Planning Officer at Malawi’s National Planning Commission, where she leads in coordination of Malawi’s development plans and she generates evidence-based research to inform policy. Her role involves data-driven reporting, stakeholder engagement, and strategic alignment of development programmes.
Previously, Mireille worked as an Economist at the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Commission, where she evaluated conducted and evaluated PPP project appraisals and conducted monitoring and evaluation of the projects.
She has also consulted for the Cannabis Regulatory Authority and tutored economics at Nelson Mandela University in South Africa.
Mireille holds a Master of Commerce in Economics and a BCom Honours in Economics from Nelson Mandela University.
