GEMs are highly useful tools for financial and macroeconomic modeling.

M&S Research Hub organizes a fully-fledged intensive workshop that trains participants on the fundamentals of the Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium (DSGE) and Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) approaches using Matlab and GAMS.

5 - Kalman Filter and Estimation Methods
6 - Examples of Practical Application of DSGE Models


  • Workshop material, codes, and recorded videos will be freely available for participants.
  • Earn an MSR and CPD certified certificates (Germany and UK) and enhance your career and employability skills.
  • Learn one of the emerging and widely used approaches for data analysis and econometric modeling.
  • Familiarize yourself and get trained in coding and how to use Matlab and GAMS software packages.
  • Start from scratch, no prerequisites are needed except familiarity with statistical modeling.
